Hy Yankosky! Como estas?!
I’m anny, from the DR,I used to translate for the PEPC with Eva, Alex, and Franc. I currently work at a christian high school and had the opportunity to share with my students about living out our christianity. I came across your book ” Being Jesus on the Street”, as I was preparing the sermon. This note is just to let you know that not only was I challenge and impacted by its message, but my students were too, as I told them how God used and is using a regular guy to change the world. May the Lord continue to bless you and use you as you bless “the least of these”
Dios te bendiga!

Hi Mike & Danae,
I read Mike’s book and I wanted to find out more about you guys and I found a whole blog! This is awesome. You guys live a life of true inspiration.
I’ve seen firsthand how difficult it is to train for and run a marathon. My dad ran the Boston last year @ 54-years-old and I thought he was CRAZY.
Anyways, I read Mike’s book about 3 months ago and I haven’t been able to stop telling everybody about it. I hope to someday live my life to level of brokeness and raw faith.
I hope I get to meet you both someday.
Cheers,
Dave

Mike-
I have been checking out your websites and am astounded at all that you have accomplished since I last saw you 7 years ago when we were graduating high school. It makes me feel like I should be doing so much more. I am impressed with your desire, drive, and dedication to change the world. If more people were like you, this world would be a much better place. Keep it up and may God bless in all of your endeavors.
God speed,

Mike,
Hi, I was in Fargo last night at the homeless and hungry 2008 event. I just wanted to let you know that it was a big eye opener for me and my husband. What a powerful message you brought to ND. Keep up the great work that the Lord has led you to do. My husband and I are seeking and praying asking God what we can do and where we need to be as christians and what we can do to help Glorify His name.
Thank You again for letting God use you for His Name Sake!
Your Brother & Sister in Christ,
Vern & Christel

Dear Mike,
Just a great big THANK YOU for sharing your experience with the rest of us. I just finished your book and I will never be the same. I am a Christian and pray every night for God to show me his plan for me. I want to help the homeless after reading your book. I will start small in my town but I intend to help them all I can. They were once little innocent children that maybe never had a chance. Thank you for all you did to help them and for bring them to life for the rest of us. They really are out there, aren’t they? It is hard to believe people are out there when we are safe and warm and fed at home. It would be a great pleasure to meet you someday in person and hear you speak of your adventure. Thank you!!

Hi Mike: I havn’t forgotten you. We are in the process of starting a new “seekeers service” at our church. We’ve been very busy. The format is a Sat. evening outreach and it’s called the 5:40 express. We chose this time to reach out to a busy generation.
Blessings Ed Dawson.

Hello Mike and Danae!
I have been listening to your interview with Dr. Dobson. I am just in awe hearing your experiences. I have seen quite a few of homeless people and have tried helping a few from time to time. I am ashamed that I have not done more. Hearing your experiences gives me a new outlook on God’s Children. Please let me know what I can do to help. I live in Northeast Texas area and where I live are probably not as many homeless as you had been in contact with. I would like to do what I can.
God Bless Both of You

Mike, I heard you speak at “here I am Lord” nursing conference in Wichita Kansas. I am reading your book and am in San Francisco
with you in the book. My daughter lives there so I know the places you are talking about. I bought two of your books, I work at the homeless prevention place in Wichita called the Center of Hope.as a volunteer.
My husband I are giving a donation to the Lord’s Diner in you honor, which if you
were homeless here you could get a warm wonderful meal here every night. I had them send something to you to the Westmont College. I am not sure they will get it to you.
Grace and Peace to you.
